|1 - Purchase
of land (Howes or Council Rock)
Property behind ours belongs to Eugenia Howes (60'
deep by 112' wide).
If we are going to spend time and money in this land purchase
process, we'd rather gain the tree line along the side our property than
extend our property further back. BUT, we are not wealthy people and can't
afford a lot of wasted expenses so we need to make the right decisions.
Eugenia is willing to work with us and we appreciate that, but her property
does little for us. The side property would save the tree line that now
exists along our property line and allow us to fence in our complete property
and trees we now care for (we mow this 25 ft of land to where the farmer
plows the field).
|2 - Driveway
There is no easement in our deed or in the Lions deed for the use of the shared driveway. To receive a Home Equity loan from American General, we were told a new driveway would have to be put in.
Here is the existing driveway and our proposed new one leading to the front door instead of the basement.
Paving was started in the fall of 2002 and hopefully will be completed Spring of 2003.
